Hey, Joe here, and thanks for checking out my blog site on How To Earn Money Blogging! If you’re looking at this page, then you’re probably wondering a little more about me. Coincidentally, that’s why I added this page… lol. So here goes…
I live in CT with my wife and cat, born and raised here. I’m currently 39 years old and I actually work on computers for a living. I work in a computer support department and I do a lot of PC troubleshooting and networking. I’m just starting to learn how to build websites, but it hasn’t been my main focus. The reason I’m trying to learn this stuff is to see if I can make some extra money on the side by building blog sites.
My wife and I make a modest living. We’re not rich by any means, in fact, we were pretty much living paycheck to paycheck not that long ago. Between the house mortgage, car payments, gas, insurance, utilities, etc… it’s been hard to just get ahead. We haven’t even been on a vacation for a long time. However, I’m just starting to see some fruits of my efforts with this whole blogging thing so hopefully this will all turn around.
Goal number 1 was to start making a little money on the side with this new blogging venture I’ve started. I think I’ve pretty much reached that as I now have a little steady income coming in from my sites (although nothing spectacular yet). Goal number 2 is to try and make this into a part-time job. (That’s where this site comes into play, the more I do this, the better I’ll get at it. And if I can help others in the process, that’d be great!) I guess you can say I’m taking baby steps. You might be asking, “Why not go right into this full-time then?” The answer is simple… I can’t quit my day job just yet! Lol. Goal number 3 is what my eye is on and will happen when I achieve enough success with blogging to actually be able to do this full-time.
I would say I’m your “average Joe” (hahaha, get it?). I have all the expenses that everyone else has. I work hard for the things I have, and I long to be able to buy and do more. (That’s another thing I’m hoping to accomplish with this… to have more time!) So I’m ready to take this journey into the blogging for cash world, and so far I would say I’m off to a good start. I’d like to share my experiences with anyone else whose interested in doing this and hopefully lend a helping hand along the way.
As I said, I’m not a truly experienced blogger yet, so even this site is a stepping stone to help me on my journey, and I have no idea how this site will turn out in the long run.
